11 years ago now or so. I went to go see a friends band play at a bar and didnt drink one beer because I was being careful. Halfway home, BAM at 70. Stuffed it right good. Made a ton of money in parts though, almost broke even on the experience

Wow, that sucks. Really impressive with the parts, though. How much did the price of one compare to the value of its parts at that time (if you remember)?

spent 13K on the car, I think I made 12,5 on the parts. A whole car in decent shape minus a front corners worth. Engine and bay was ok

Wow, if that's in USD that sounds like a good deal. It's a good thing you didn't lose too much money, but I can't imagine losing that car. Thanks for the info.
